Stuck on Solve the... Bank Heist

A few pointers for cracking the vaults. There are no spoilers on this page, just ways to work through 3,600 lockboxes without losing your place.

Before you start

Solving tips

  1. Use the statements in any orderYou don't have to start with statement 1. Begin with the statements that clear whole vaults at once, then move on to the ones about single lockboxes.

  2. Mark lockboxes, don't scribble over themCircle, colour or highlight the lockboxes you eliminate. Some statements depend on what's inside other lockboxes, so you'll still need to see them.

  3. Know what counts as next toLockboxes are only adjacent if they sit directly above, below, left or right of each other. Diagonals don't count, and lockboxes on different pages are never adjacent.

Suspicion Checker

Wondering about a lockbox? Tell us which vault and lockbox, and we'll show you what's inside and which witness statements rule it out, if any.

The vault number is at the top of each page. Count its lockboxes left to right, row by row: the top-left lockbox is 1, the one beside it is 2, and the bottom-right is 18.
